 Education Committee

The Del Rey Neighborhood Council Education Committee's September meeting featured presentations from several nonprofit organizations that serve our community. The Hacker Fund, a nonprofit that provides tech workshops called "Hackathons" for schools and organizations, shared information about their programs. Venice Arts provided information on their Fall classes, and the Lions Club educated us on the services they provide to the community, including free eye exams and glasses fittings. We look forward to working with these organizations to highlight events and opportunities for our community. In October, we will be discussing Del Rey Day activities, a future presentation about Marina Del Rey Middle School, and the classroom space at Mar Vista Gardens.
